Do you know of any great guides on monetizing an email list?

I'd love to do away with banner ads and monetize only via native ads and via subscribers. It would be such a great experience for users and would place me head and shoulders above other competing sites that have ads everywhere (which most do). Plus with less ad scripts running, my site would load faster.

With the amount of email subscribers I get, it seems to me that the potential is there. I assume I'll need to segment the shit out of my subs and send them hyper focused offers.

And of course, once that's done the wonderful ability to scale makes its secrets known.

So, do you know of any great guides that discuss, in-depth, monetizing an email list?

Digital Marketer has some interesting stuff on email marketing. I read their book Invisible Selling Machine which helped me learn a lot.
