Anyone have a favorite website availability monitoring tool? I keep getting 5xx timeouts when running Screaming Frog and my web ops dept. is telling me everything is fine..

Pingdom Uptime

Not a monitoring tool but, Screaming Frog has a separate log analyzer. It parses server logs into more readable data. You may want to look into whether those 5XX errors are happening to users or just bots.

Depending on your crawl settings you may be trying to do too much at once. You may want to reduce the amount of threads/urls you're running at a time.

Pingdom but ManageWP has a much cheaper option too (I have not used it)

UptimeRobot is what I use, and has a good free plan.

Uptime Robot for free has yet to fail me to be honest
