On the topic of water, coolers, and relaxation, a planned group camping trip this summer has me in the market for a full-sized cooler.
Most of my life I've used cheap AF Colemans and Rubbermaid type products from Wal-Mart. Being a contrarian I've also generally scoffed at the notion of spending $300+ on a Yeti. I hate hype (unless it's around a new cannabis strain).
All that said the more I dig into coolers that'll go 5+ days (for serious camping) the more it seems that $300 is the median price range for these higher quality (or not?) rotomolded products.
Brands I've looked at:
*My uses will range from beach parties to 4-5 day camping trips to monthly Costco hauls.
