How do affiliate management services price their offering?

A lot of affiliate managers handling membership approvals on ShareASale and CJ are agencies that are contracted to the actual sellers. I am interested to know how they price their offering. Is this a pure-commission model, or a fixed+variable model? Do they charge hourly, or by tasks?

I work with a few solopreneur SaaS companies that I think can benefit from such a service. If I were to talk to them, how exactly should I go about it?

I know a few doing this and they take a fixed retainer +the commission. That commission is then shared with affiliates. Similar to a forex spread, they want to keep as much for themselves as possible.
