So, I don't even want to put thee site in the title.

However, i was wondering.

WorldStarHipHop has a DA/pA of 76/60.
It has the alexa rank of 2,275 .
Trust Flow is only 19 / but citation flow is 45

I'm wondering, how much is a backlink from a post on WorldStarHipHop worth to search? I personally think it's nothing much at all ... but I do actually know people who've got connects to this site and thinking of trying. I've literally never seen the site rank in search for anything beyond it's brand name but it's def one of the most wellknown brands of the web.

Thoughts?

They are the epitome of a "thin content" site is their Google problem. Of course they don't care and it's not stopping them from doing really well. They spread through word of mouth, forums, social media, link aggregator sites, etc. Plus there's a lot of violence and debauchery on the site that I'm sure impacts it's exposure.

But to keep that in perspective they've had organic traffic (according to SEMRush) as high as 13 million a month and are currently at 6.25 million. They're dropping drastically in the past couple of years. I'd venture to say the remaining search traffic they get now is almost entirely branded search.

They do okay in video search though. That's what their pages are, just vehicles to host a video in a permanent spot. It's basically a title, a video, 50 words, and then low-quality comments that probably don't get indexed.

They're obviously juicy but that page rank is distributed among a lot of pages. Getting a link from the domain would be nice and definitely provide a positive net value, but I doubt it will be some game changer. I would pay market rate for the stats and nothing more for any prestige, and I'd want it to be topic-relevant if possible.

I can get a discount rated for around $400-$500 on posts but i think the way which they post [sponsored content] . [label submitted]... etc.. are all bad ,.. they want to charge you $$$ to remove the tag many times.
