Hi guys,today I got a mail that that someone from Ukraine wanted to hijack my Gmail account,yes I do have an outlook a/c bt I rarely use it has anyone ever had that issue,sorry for my noob/useless question.

Was the message from Google? Sounds like they caught the problem and notified you. My guess is that accounts are constantly under attack and we aren't made aware. That guy might have gotten a little closer, maybe even had your password, but they noticed the IP was too far off from your normal location.

@ryuzaki,yes it was from Google,they even mailed me the ip address,if,I may ask why does a person want to hijack my mail account?

The question is why not? Who knows what you can find with the mail account, its like a game.
