Should I nofollow social media links to my own branded profiles in my theme?

Part of me thinks it's good to send some juice to my pages as in theory the links will be crawled back to my site afterwards, but then I figure twitter.com doesn't need any more juice and I should keep it to myself.

I see those as part of a trust/authoritative signal. I use the “sameAs” schema data that is recommended to signal what social profiles I own, so Google understands that. Doesn’t make sense to nofollow it though.

If you are this level of thinking about juice flow you have already passed the point of diminishing return on investment of your time. There are more impactful things you can be working on to generate traffic and revenue today, versus worrying about social media link juice. You’ve gone far enough.
