Site Title Incorrectly Crawled, Common?

Merged two sites. Having some odd indexing on the new site now. The title of the new site in the knowledge graph and sometimes in the search results themselves shows the tile as the niche name rather than the name of the site.

Been this way for a month+

Anyone had a similar situation happen?

Yeah and I fixed it too.

It sounds like Google determined that "YourNiche" is more relevant to your site than "YourNewName" Change the title tag on the page to something relevant, like "YourNewName - YourNiche". Wait until GoogleBot updates its index, and you might be good to go.

Thanks @Philip J. Fry I've had the site title defined universally across the site. It's getting replaced on a wide range of pages.
