Basically, if I want to get traffic and traffic sources for a website do I have to pay for this or no? I am wanting to get this coded in a plugin that can check another website's traffic and traffic sources.

Also, would it cost money or is there a free way of finding out all the ads a website runs? Like Google Search Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads and Tiktok Ads? Like do I have to pay for API tools or something or nah?

Look into "upstream web analytics", it uses traffic data collected from ISPs. It's definitely not free but Similarweb might have what you're looking for traffic analysis.

No not at all.

And all the tools are selling wildly inaccurate biased sampling data at best.
