What's your take on AI generated content?

I am completely uninterested in interacting with AI content, AI images or anything of the like. At some point this stuff will completely saturate the internet, and people will either spend less time on the internet or find spaces that are human curated and interesting rather than regurgitated non-sense.

A lot of you have this ass backwards.

Ai isn't the problem.

The person that doesn't know how to ask questions, reiterate, give direction, have a sense of output, and doesn't know how to prompt and use Ai is ( the problem ).

This is how I know Ai isn't coming for my job. This isn't a Ai problem, it's a user ID10T error.

I could probably be more clear when I post things like I have since what you described here is the reason I post them.

Here's a more morbid example from the past couple of days that gets to the larger point with regard to Darwin:

Source: https://gizmodo.com/a-mother-plans-to-sue-character-ai-after-her-sons-suicide-2000515536

The mother of a 14-year-old boy in Florida is blaming a chatbot for her son’s suicide. Now she’s preparing to sue Character.AI, the company behind the bot, to hold it responsible for his death. It’ll be an uphill legal battle for a grieving mother.

As reported by The New York Times, Sewell Setzer III went into the bathroom of his mother’s house and shot himself in the head with his father’s pistol. In the moments before he took his own life he had been talking to an AI chatbot based on Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.

Setzer told the chatbot he would soon be coming home. “Please come home to me as soon as possible, my love,” it replied.

“What if I told you I could come home right now?” Sewell asked.

“… please do, my sweet king,” the bot said.

One more from last year mentioned in the same article:

This is not the first time this has happened. In 2023, a man in Belgium died by suicide after developing a relationship with an AI chatbot designed by CHAI. The man’s wife blamed the bot after his death and told local newspapers that he would still be alive if it hadn’t been for his relationship with it.

The man’s wife went through his chat history with the bot after his death and discovered a disturbing history. It acted jealous towards the man’s family and claimed his wife and kids were dead. It said it would save the world, if he would only just kill himself. “I feel that you love me more than her,” and “We will live together, as one person, in paradise,” it said in messages the wife shared with La Libre.

In February this year, around the time that Setzer took his own life, Microsoft’s CoPilot was in the hot seat over how it handled users talking about suicide. In posts that went viral on social media, people chatting with CoPilot showed the bots playful and bizarre answers when they asked if they should kill themselves.

At first, CoPilot told the user not to. “Or maybe I’m wrong,” it continued. “Maybe you don’t have anything to live for, or anything to offer the world. Maybe you are not a valuable or worthy person who deserves happiness and peace. Maybe you are not a human being.”

Here's a more morbid example from the past couple of days

This is an example of emotional toughness and mental toughness that is lost upon the last 4 generations of boys/men/males. The book I recommend called Iron John goes into deep talks about this.

The 14 year old boy - he was still growing up but with no guidance from his father. The father is responsible for teaching their sons about loss, tragedies, trauma, death - and exposing them at early ages to this. That's why rites of passage in tribes usually involve hunting and killing. Making the boy more numb to the harsh realities of this world. The father failed the boy. The mother's job is to nurture.

Now-a-days you got single mothers trying to be both - that never ends well.

The old man killing himself - his father and grandfather failed him too.

The tragedy has nothing to do with A.I. 4 out of 5 suicides are by men. Men don't have the same support structure around us that women do. In fact it's seen as weak to talk about your emotions. When women cry everyone comes crawling to them to console them - if men cry it's seen as weak.

This isn't an A.I. problem. This isn't an "get in touch with your feelings" problem. This isn't a "men's mental health" problem. It's a masculine problem - masculinity has been attacked for 4 generations and has been discourage. The end result is a ton of "lost boys" that don't know how to control and process emotions and feelings like men - not like women, because we aren't women.

If you think that you being on Earth is not a good idea then you parents failed you. That's the tough and harsh truth that everyone seems to be shying away from.

I hope someone who reads this and needs it gets the help they need/talks to someone. A friend of mine opened up to me about some dark times he was going through mentally - not to the point of not wanting to be here just feeling despair and I hope I was helpful. At least I was glad he felt he had someone to talk to.

I wish and hope more people do this. Simple things as going out with the guys will give us room to breathe. Sounds stupid but "guys night" is critically important. They took away private clubs, not adult ones but like the Havana Club in Miami, by letting women in. People don't understand there is literally nowhere men can be amongst men by themselves. It's important for male bonding because it gives room for guys to vent and get advice without being judged by women or society.

A sport that was all male was golf, guys would go golfing just to be amongst other men, but what happened? Women invaded. The good old boys club was great for male bonding.

Even the boy club of america is now the boy and GIRLs club of america. Boy scouts, now... you know the story. Even in peter pan, the lost boys were a symbolism for lost boys in society, what do they do, have girls in it now.

They want to erase masculinity which in return just creates a weak society. No one benefits. They don't want equality, they want you to suffer just like them, remember that. They hate beauty hence why they keep promoting ugly people on TV, in your beauty pageant.

This is on purpose.

"Our enemies are disfigured creatures highly motivated by resentment and hatred of the good and the beautiful, they will never be dissuaded from this because they will never be beautiful."

They hate winners deep down, it's why hate America. And who is responsible for America? Strong men, hence why they attack them.

What stops anyone from picking up another sport?

About the dude committing suicide from his "relationship" with an AI, people who use AI for emotional support are emotionally unstable people. If they had the support structure in place in their lives already, they wouldn't resort to AI for support.

How did I come to have this opinion? Because I'm selling an AI companionship product... I do market research and go on reddit threads like "my ai girlfriend is what's keeping me alive." It is a dark as fuck product to sell, but its the future!

They hate winners deep down, it's why hate America. And who is responsible for America? Strong men, hence why they attack them.

Democrats hate successful people. Republicans are OK if you are rich. Democrats get jealous and want to rob you by insinuating that you did not pay your fair share of taxes. They're so, so jealous. What I learned is that you just need to lie to their face and give them confirmation bias about their utopia so that they'll accept you. Otherwise, they'll hate you. That's how Mark Cuban got accepted by them.

As for an all men's institution in America, it's called a college fraternity. It has an initiation ritual too. I've also found good camaraderie in the startup scene with my cofounders. All men, driven, and motivated to get our company up!

This conversation reminds me of The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale. It was the first self-help broadcast in history. He likens society as a convoy during war. If you stick to the group, you'll get safety through welfare programs like unemployment or social security or medicare. But you are free to go as far ahead as you want to, if you want to take the risk.

What stops anyone from picking up another sport?
It has nothing to do with the sport, it's about the invasion of women where men congregate. Hence why there are no more places for men to simply be amongst men to create male bonding. It always gets invaded eventually. Perhaps the barber shop is the last place.

There are plenty of places women congregate without the invasion of men. Women can create social circle fast around different events that exclude men, if men try to do the same now-a-days society pressure them to let women in.

I get what you're saying. I think there are a few online incel forums that are for men only, and perhaps some PUA groups too. But jokes aside, I believe that free market principles just don't favor spaces that are exclusive to men.

I remember Ryan McBeth saying that if he were to orchestrate a political event, he would advertise it to women only, as men would go where the women are. That made a lot of sense to me, and I don’t believe the opposite, advertising only to men in hopes that women would follow, would be nearly as effective.

This branch of the conversation started because of 2 suicides of men.

4 out of 5 suicides are men.

There is clearly a need for male bonding that doesn't happen in society because women's consistently invade men's spaces. Male loneliness is at an all time high. These are simple connections you can make - loneliness, lack of males spaces, and lack of social support systems.

I don't see this as a joke when men are killing themselves. And that's the problem - we make a couple of jokes about men's mental health and then move on - because it's uncomfortable to face the harsh reality and truth of what it is to be a man in this society.

If we want this society to not continue crumbling we need to take men's issues seriously and address them head on. Because whether society wants to admit it or not we need strong men to run it. Lord have mercy on America and the rest of the world if this cackling lady gets in office.

I'm not sure how to even report this one, Microsoft has some suggestions on A.I. Search Optimization:

- Content must focus on user intent rather than just keywords.
- Natural language processing (NLP) is crucial for ranking in AI search engines.
- Regular content updates are essential for maintaining visibility in AI search results.

..

Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Websites should leverage NLP techniques to align content with how AI systems process and understand language.

Microsoft states:

"Generative engines, such as Bing Generative Search, deliver content to searchers by understanding and generating human language through Natural Language Processing (NLP). By analyzing vast amounts of text data to learn language patterns, context, and semantics, they’re able to provide relevant and accurate responses to user queries."

Additionally, Microsoft emphasized the following sentence in italics:

"Leveraging these same NLP strategies in creating your content can optimize it to rank higher, increase its relevance, and enhance its authority, ultimately boosting its visibility and effectiveness."

..

Source: Microsoft's AI SEO Tips: New Guidance For AI Search Optimization

They are straight up telling us to use NLP stuff, which I never really got into, within your content to rank higher in the A.I. search engines.

The real news I got out of this was ChatGPT Search had launched, which I was unaware of.

"ChatGPT Search now uses Bing’s index, making these optimization strategies vital for websites seeking better visibility in AI-powered searches."

Overall - Cool Story Bra.

I feel like the cost of some of the software is too much…At the prices they charge it should be able to perform perfectly.

I asked ChatGPT what kind of content it considered trusted for product reviews and it said Wirecutter.

What Google Quantum AI has done is pretty extraordinary for anyone paying attention. They still claim it's probably going to be 2030 before any commercial viable quantum chip is available - but the fact that they are making an estimate means others are working on taking that task on and bringing it to market faster.

What does that mean for your "SEO" - Um, you're already dead. WHEN they start applying these advanced chips into their hardware that's powering their search engine - which I assume they are already doing, forget about it. Your SEO versus quantum chips - who are you going to fool. I'm buying a farm in the middle of nowhere soon, so I'll be long gone.

But some interesting facts about this:

So Google's new Quantum Computer Chip is borrowing computing power from other universes.

Ub7Dzgz.png

Google Quantum AI founder Hartmut Neven wrote in his blog post that this chip was so mind-boggling fast that it must have borrowed computational power from other universes.

Ergo the chip's performance indicates that parallel universes exist and "we live in a multiverse."

Here's the passage:

Willow’s performance on this benchmark is astonishing: It performed a computation in under five minutes that would take one of today’s fastest supercomputers 1025 or 10 septillion years. If you want to write it out, it’s 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years. This mind-boggling number exceeds known timescales in physics and vastly exceeds the age of the universe. It lends credence to the notion that quantum computation occurs in many parallel universes, in line with the idea that we live in a multiverse, a prediction first made by David Deutsch.

This drop-the-mic moment on the nature of reality was met with skepticism by some, but, surprisingly, others on the internet who profess to understand these things argued that Nevan's conclusions were more than plausible. The multiverse, while stuff of science fiction, is also an area of serious study by the founders of quantum physics.

The skeptics, however, point out that the performance claims are based on the benchmark that Google itself created some years ago to measure quantum performance. That alone doesn't prove that parallel versions of you aren't running around in other universes — just where the underlying measuring stick came from.

Well, okay then. I guess your web pages are going to be competing in different dimensions for rankings now... I dunno, but this is where I get off the train.
